Livvy made her way outside of the castle and towards the greenhouses, entering the fourth one to see that many of her fellow classmates were already gathered. She looked around at what the students that had arrived prior to her arrival, had done.
Smiling, she came up to the professor with a cheery, "Hullo professor! You look lovely today. I like your boots." Livvy glanced down at the one she was tapping that looked all purteh looking... but was most definitely NOT something that she, Olivia Zhang, would wear. She'd trip.
Livvy took out her soft, cherry wand of 11 1/2 inches, with it's own unique unicorn hair, from her robes and dropped it in the container. Though she was quite sorry to see it go, she had to obey the professor's rules. Though Bunbury was a delightful lady, she was not one you wanted to anger. Did Livvy mention, scary, yet? "Mm thanks dear, they're one-of-a-kind," Bunbury nodded at the Ravenclaw and carefully watched her deposit her wand into the bin. Goood goood another cherry one. Quote:

Er, what? why? and with Bunbury? That was...clearly something she didn't want to do, but did she have a choice? Yes. Not going to class. However, she had to. Well, at least Bunbury had a wand, unlike Melita, and she wouldn't take their wand.
As she grew closer and closer to the entrance, she took out her wand, Bunbury better not do anything to it, it was rather new. "Hello Professor, it's a nice day, right?" if you liked the cold. Kaika smiled as she left her 'Redwood, Phoenix Feather core, 9 3/4 inches. Sturdy' wand with Bunbury and proceeded to take a seat. "The weather is rather chilly for my tastes," Bunbury remarked in reply in Kaika, waiting for her to drop her wand off as well. It looked sturdy. That would be useful. Quote:

The wands that no witch or wizard could imagine themselves apart from it?'. He had no trouble with wandering around wandless but that seemed a little bit fishy to him for the general idea in the wizarding world. Besides that his quick mind contributed more to this suspiciousness when it linked this remembering things of professors losing their wands in the castle. And what was that look on the professors face.
Lost in thoughts he walked forward and halted right before her, taking off his 12 inches, hazel wood, salamander scale core wand which was very solid as he stared right into professor's eyes. 'Don't be stupid! She is a professor there's no reason for her to steal other's wands. You are being ridiculous!' he mentally scolded himself and dropped his wand isnide the thing she was holding. ''Good day professor!'' he spoke out trying to sound cheerful and made his way to the seats tyring to forget his stupid ideas on people around especially that 'Profesor Bunbury wand thief. Hilarious!' one. "Good....day...." the redheaded professor murmured in reply to the student who seemed to be having some sort of internal discussion... with himself. Perhaps he too had inner demons just like Jake Upstead? Quote:

Reluctantly she retrieved the wand from her Slytherin robes and examined it. “That's Birch and phoenix feather and measures 9 ¾ inches. It's kinda swooshy I suppose.” She placed it on the desk. Then asked curiously, her green eyes narrowing ever so slightly. “What do you need our wands for, proffessor?” Typical Slytherin, having to rattle off her wand statistics as if Bunz couldn't figure them out for herself. "You'll see," Anastasia answered her curtly, before pausing to add, "They're for the protection of the plants we'll be working with today."
Yeah, she was sticking with that excuse. Quote:

It was a solid Hawthorne, 14 inch with a dragon heartstirng core and a fancy handle. Crossing the room, she plopped down into a seat, trying to fix her long hair, scarlet today. Not seeing any of her friends, she pulled out one of her favorite muggle books from her bag and lost herself in the pages. Quote:

Tavelon went over to the box to deposit his wand. Why? Not his favorite 11-and-a-half-inch-sturdy-redwood-with-dragon-heartstring-core... well, his only wand. So it had to be his favorite.
Tavelon grudgingly put his wand in the box. All the professors missing their wands lately... Maybe it was Bunbury! And now she was going to STEAL from the students, too!!!
Tavelon kept all of this in his head, and cut things down to a simple "Hi, Professor" with a cheery smile as he sat. Bunbury somewhat patiently waited for the next few students to trickle in. She acknowledged each with a nod as her collection pile of wands grew in the bin. Goooood goooood. Quote:

"Good day, professor," he said, as he parted with his wand - he did not want to, but Professor Bunbury had never been that evil, had she? Determined, more like. Ah, his wand. Thirteen inches, wood of cherry, core of Chimaera Scale. Fyo loved it as much as he loved Arithmancy.

She said quickly before making her way to find a seat. "Hey Fyo, long time no see." She said smiling at him and taking a seat. "What you been up to?" "Godd day, Mr. Balouch, Miss Finn," Bunbury narrowed her eyes at the pair. Better not get chatty. AHEM. At least they had turned in their wands. Quote:

Deciding quickly, she bent down close to the ground when a couple students were distracting the professor, and tried to squeeze through unnoticed. She was NOT going to give up her ten and a third inch Ash wood and Basilisk Fang core wand. No way. Not now. Not ever. Now almost crawling on the ground, she was thankful that she wasn't that tall. "You turn it in or you don't and you leave class...." she started to say in her usual threatening tone, before remembering that she was trying to be better, "...darling."
Bunz threw a look over her shoulder at the Prefect as well. "And you. Wand.... er... please." As if he had a choice. Quote:

Its core was her favorite thing about it - whose else's had a firecrab shell core? She held out her wand and smiled tremulously (in her head, at least; in real life it was more like a grimace). "Hullooo, Professor." She stared down at the wand still in her hand. "I suppose you want me to just...put it down. All right." She EVER SO SLOWLY put her wand in the container, as if it might explode if she dropped it too fast. "I'll come back for you, dear," she whispered. Honestly, why was there so much hesitation, especially among the prefects? A wand was a wand. Everyone could still study magic - like HERBOLOGY - without a wand. Quote:

Okay, so to be fair, LouAnn didn't know that wands were being stolen, but she'd been around quite a few professors lately who'd suddenly found themselves without one---and not having known where it went.
Sighing, LouAnn pulled her own wand out---Goodbye, Willow; Phoenix Feather Core; 10 3/4 inches. Yes, she expected to never see it again once it dropped into that container the professor was holding. She hesitated a moment, thinking to snatch it back, when Cam Karsten spoke up...
"She's forty?!?" LouAnn half-whispered, looking at the boy in amazement. "She'd older than my parents..."
...or not. LouAnn beamed at the professor then greeted her in an overly polite manner. "Good day, Professor Bunbury. My, what nice boots you have on!" she said, giving Cam a 'What in Merlin's name?' look. With that said and done, she proceeded into the classroom to join the rest of the students. "I am NOT forty, Miss Purple," Bunbury bellowed in the direction of Cameron Karsten. GRR. She shook her head, took a breath, and then nodded at Lou Ann in a much nicer tone. "Thank you." Quote:

"Here ya go, Professor," he said, handing Bunbury his wand. "12 and 1/2 inches, unicorn hair core, with ash wood. My birthday month," he added proudly as he handed it off. After learning about all that stuff last lesson he was amazed that his wand ACTUALLY fit into his birth month and personality...it was soooo cool!
He wandered over and took a seat between Fyo and LouAnn, waving to his fellow Gryffindors happily as he sat down. Hmmm, he didn't miss his wand as much as he thought he would. But he did still missss it. He felt so vulnerable like this! Quote:

That was outrageous! But, she knew she was going to have to give her wand to Bunbury. Slowly, she took out her 12.5 inches Willow, Dragon Heartstring wand and handed it to Bunbury before she went off and took a seat near Jack, Fyo, and LouAnn. More wands. Excellent. It was good to see some students still had the sense to not test Bunbunz's patience. Quote:

Round the what, exactly? Did plants have heads? Aghghgghhhh!!
"Professor," said Lucille, her grip on her wand tightening. "How.... where's the best place to hit a killer plant to knock it out?"She gulped.
She had to know. Just in case.
Reluctently, she held out her wand. Veeeeeery sloooooowly. "First of all," she turned toward the Hufflepuff and let out a lonnnng sigh, "there is no such thing as a killer plant. Second of all, if such plants did exist, don't you think I, your esteemed and very knowledgeable professor, would be able to protect you?"
A slightly demonic, sharp grin spread across Bunbury's face after that statement. "Regardless, that is a topic we might discuss today. So. Thank you for the wand." And Bunz snatched it out of Lucy's hand to toss it on her pile. Quote:

Honestly, it HAD been confiscated... but he also had a stash. Thinking hard as he tried not to notice the telltale ten and a quarter inch stick that might have been visible in his back pocket, Jake tried to remember who had taken his wand recently. "Lawsssss'n's got it..." he tried, forgetting there were ways to see through this.
Thinking this would be enough, Jake bit on his lip and started to edge away to a seat.
Well come ON! He did NOT want to give his wand to Bunbury! She'd tried to KILL him after all. He needed his twirly little willow wand for protection. Plus, the snidget feather was starting to come out of the end of this particular copy of his wand, which made Jake think it was the one he favoured.
Okay, so it was IRRELEVANT that he couldn't do magic... the poking side was workable. "One, you're lying to me, Upstead," Anastasia was automatically on edge at the entrance of this problem child. "And two, I'm surprised you even showed up to this lesson. However, you won't be allowed to attend until I have your wand. If you have to call 'Laawssn' down here with your wand then so be it."
Again. Until she had it in her claws yet again. Funny how this was so similar to that scenario she'd been trying to forget after their last lesson.... Quote:

She had heard things about wands coming up missing and wasn't feeling at all comfortable parting with hers. But again Professor Bunbury was in charge and who was she to question a professor so. "Good day, Professor," she smiled once she reached the container. Reluctantly, she placed her snidget feather core, 11 3/4 inch, springy, rosewood wand in the container. How I hope you return to me, my lovely wand.
With one last longing look at her wand, she turned to take a seat. She still was uncomfortable with being wandless, but she did have to be positive and optimistic in hopes that she would see it at the end of the lesson. Finding a seat, she settled in and noticed the shoes she heard people commenting on. Oooo....nice shoes. Me likes. Let it to shoes to distract a little girl. Quote:

She wiggled her toes in her own branded tennis shoes and was hesitant as to dropping her wand in the pile that was eventually going to overflow. What did she need a 11 1/2; Ash; Fwooper Feather; Pliable for? She watched the professor for a moment and pretended to drop her wand in the pile with the rest of them and quietly pushed it up her sleeve. This was HER wand! No one else needed to play with it! Especially with all the werewolves running around the school. Thanks a lot LouAnn for the scare! "Neither," Bunbury answered the disgusting, wanna-be-boy-or-what-IS-she-wearing-on-her-feet Hufflepuff. Ugh. Must. Not. Look. Down. But even before that, the carefully polished wand had been by her side or in her grasp at all times.
This was her wand! This was what made Wesley a witch- what proved her existance and importance. It was her best friend, and she didn't want to give it up. Without it, she felt naked.
But she trusted Professor Bunbury; no matter how intimidating the older woman was with her heels (these ones looking exspecially dangerous) and pink, she was a teacher. She was only looking out for her student's safety, right? If Wesley couldn't trust the red-haired Herbology professor, she couldn't trust anyone.
Face crumpled in broken helplessness, the tiny girl pulled out her wand, right hand crossing correctly to her left hip, and stood on her tiptoes, reaching her arm high in order to place it safely in the box. "Bye-bye," she whispered to the wand, and then, giving a small, shaky smile to Professor Bunburry, the Hufflepuff walked away, head hanging low, to where the other students where sitting. Quote:

She really didn't like the idea of handing her wand over. Her precious eleven in a half inch willow wand, with it's aethonon hair core and it's lovely bend to it...
But she gave it away, if anything because of that eeeeeeeeevvvvvilllll smirk Bunbury was wearing on her face. To tell the truth, the lady scared the bejeebers out of her. "Could we just show it to you?" he asked holding out his 16", Purpleheart, Essence of Lycan Hair wand. Rafe was rather attached to his wand and would hate if someone stole it or broke it. "Safety is always on the back of my mind," the professor answered almost automatically. Yes, it was always in the back back back back back back farthest possible corner underneath oodles of cobwebs and eons of dust. Safety was always somewhere in Bunz's mind and also how could she push the limits of safety. Ha.
"No, I NEED your wand, IN the bin, with EVERYONE ELSE's," she emphasized with a glare at the Gryffindor. "I assure you, it will be returned at the conclusion of this lesson."
Maybe. Doubtful she'd take a liking to his purpleheart. Blah. Quote:

He leaned in slightly and raised his eyebrow. "Her name is Michelle," he lifted the 12 1/2 inch poisonwood wand with the manticore hair core to show it to her. She probably recognized it, right? "Ah.....hmm....." Bunz hesitated at Copernicus' query because he did have a good point. She would never do anything to hurt Michelle but she also didn't want one student armed and the rest not. Especially not around her precious plant.
This was called being caught between a rock and a hard place. "I think you should still... turn it over to me... and I'll take extra-special care of it? It's just for one lesson. Please." Yes, Annie would take good care of the poisonwood wand.... once Copernicus handed it over. Quote:

Hmphf. Looking fondly at her eleven and a quarter inch of a wand - Mahogany and dragon heartstring - she forced herself to let it go and winced at the sound it made when it hit all the other wands. She REALLY didn't like this. At all.
Not looking at Professor Bunbury pointedly - probably not because of the wand thing, but because Rachel hadn't attended a Herbology lesson since forever - the sixth year chose a random spot to hover around and waited to see what other people were doing. Herbology was unfamiliar ground for her. Quote:
