Evan heard that
E, and froze for a moment of thinking. E... and she blushed... and that meant--

"Why aren't you telling me?" he asked. If he could learn the reason, maybe he would convince her by showing he would be loyal to her secret.

everything. Just as he had got Lyddia to pronounce the first letter, this silly thing greeted them. Did she not see they were talkig something PRIVATE? He quickly dropped his hand, and turned his blue eyes to her, trying his best not to growl at the girl, ah,
Nicoletta. He waved his hand curtly at the mention of his name, and turned his full attention back to Lyddia. Maybe this Nicoletta would understand they were talking privately. If it was some other time, Evan would be all nicey, but right now, he was dealing with something important.
