Nikki walked in and started to say hello to the Professor, before she realized he wasn't there. The first year took a seat in the front row, and organised her belongings.

On the top of her parchment, she wrote the date, and spent a few minutes decorating the title "Dark Creatures", so soon it was covered in squiggles, and stars, and some things which looked like badly deformed roses...

As Nikki sat by herself, she daydreamed a bit, and wondered if the Porfessor would bring any dark creatures to class.

As the Professor came in, he asked if anyone knew any Dark Creatures. Nikki raised her hand. "Vampires, sir." She paled a bit at the thought of the Professor bringing one of THOSE into a class full of kids.
