"Lorcan--another unusual name. I was telling someone else earlier that I love uncommon names! Oh, you're a Huffie? Finally, I'm friends with someone who's from a different house! Sorry, but I know so many people from Gryffindor that I get tired of it sometimes. It's a nice change," Lucy commented.

She took a long gulp of her butterbeer, and then noticed that Kat was being left out.

Well, that's not right, she though to herself.

"Oh, and this is Katlyn, my best friend," she said as introduced Kat. Lucy emphasized the word "best" because she wanted to let Kat know that she considered them extremely good friends. Maybe she hadn't shown it, but she was telling her now.

"She's also in Gryffindor, and a first year like you!" Lucy said.

"And Rafe, of course, " she grinned, " is a first year Gryffie also," she ended, introducing Rafe to Lorcan.
