He watched her push at the snow and withdrew the cherry wand, giving it a flick to clear the rest of the bench off before moving over to sit down and gesturing for her to join him.

Annie remained silent for a few moments, not entirely sure how to answer Ethan. She didn't budge from her cold spot even though Ethan looked cozy on the bench. Why bother. He'd probably push her off into the snow after she told him about the Devil's Snare and all.

"I didn't see you in the hospital wing," she mentioned nonchalantly, kicking at some more fluff. "You weren't hurt too, were you? I tried to fix what I could. I... failed out of Healing school once for a reason though...." Annie peeked at Ethan from the corner of her eye before returning to her staring contest with the winter wonderland.

She sighed and her breath came out in a cold cloud as she continued mumbling. "I don't want you to hate me, Ethan. You're going to hate me. Would you hate me less if I just went ahead and resigned? I mean.... there's Wanted posters out......" on an unrelated troublemaking charge but it was all just more evidence of evil!Bunz anyway.
