.....on second thought, maybe it would be better if Ethan didn't answer that. Annie tucked in closer to him and kicked a little ball of snow off the path toward the pond.

"Well, no, I mean, it's always on my wrist." She glanced at him thoughtfully, noticing that that wasn't his usual wand. "It's possible someone took it, I suppose... lots of suspects out there who hate me..." she trailed off into a little sniff. "Where's Michelle?"
