There was no way he was letting her win a race. NOPE. He launched himself over the side of the staircase railing just as a moving staircase creaked slowly under them, "HAHA!"
There was no time to stop and stamp her foot in frustration, Celandine continued sprinting down the stairs at an ankle breaking speed, whirled when she got to a landing and jumped off the edge where it didn't quite meet up, tossing her book bag first and transfiguring it into a giant, bouncy cushion. Falling almost two stories, she made a rough landing on it and bounced bodily up into the air again before landing on her feet a few metres away, a couple flights down from where she started.
Cela took off again, not even looking up at Garret as she yelled back.
"HAHAAAA!"
She levitated her book bag behind her, restoring it to its former book bag glory as she hurtled down the stairs, glad she wasn't wearing heels today.
