Marcus gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder before taking the last steps to where the young boy lay. He knelt down beside the body and checked for a pulse. It wasn't necessary of course he could tell from just one look that the kid was dead but it was always best to check.

And yep no pulse. Marcus sat back on his heels and let his eyes scan over the boys body. Not a mark on the kid. Not one. Which could only mean...

He lent over the body and brushed his hand over the boys eyes so that it looked like he was sleeping before standing up again and turning to face Torin. "Did you see anyone hanging around here before you found the boy?"

He nodded at the Professor and held his wand up high. He stared at the wall as Lawson went to look at the kid. He didn't want to see the body again. It was way too creepy. He shuddered just imagining the lifeless eyes.

"I didn't see anyone, Professor. At first I thought that the boy hurt himself somehow when he was alone in here."
