"You shouldn't get embarrassed by it. But I promise not to bring it up again." He reassured her, realising that bringing up something that was so clearly embarrassing to her would be a bad idea.
"Yeah it's kinda like a horror movie slash thriller. Hmm have you ever heard of Sienna Miller?" Reid asked, not sure if she had or not. "She's the female lead. Other than that a few of my other friends were in there too." he said with a shrug, not actually remembering half the names of the people he had worked with over the holidays.
"I invited them so I should pay right?" he asked, brushing off the sweet comment. Really it may have been true but the male inside him blanched at his actions being described as cute. "Are you alright?" Reid asked Via, seeing her sit down as if she was dizzy.
"Rachel was sad?" he asked, suddenly serious. "It depends on when you saw her as to what she was sad about really. Recently she got some shocking news that made her upset but before that I suppose yours truly can be blamed for her depression. Having her meet Sienna and leaving Sienna and Livvy alone wasn't one of my best ideas and lets just say I messed up royally and had her go back to her uncle in a rage and tears." Reid said, shame lacing his words. It wasn't his proudest moment ever and each time he was reminded of it he felt a knife stab his chest.
"It sounds like fun. Chicago to me is one of the most beautiful places. There are parts of it that just let you melt into them and relax unlike in New York and LA where it seems people never go to sleep." He smiled once more as she described how she hid out from her parents friends, "that's so cute," he said aloud without actually meaning to. "So I gather that Natalia is your sister or something?" he questioned. "And you aren't talking too much at all."
She just smiled at the thought of it.
"It is? I think i've heard of her..." she nodded looking at her shoes.
"...somewhere... Uhmmm... Was there some killing scenes in there? I kinda hate those movies..." she said...
"They actually make me shiver.. like it's real and they make me paranoid. But i'll watch for it... coz that's your movie..." she smiled at him.
Realising the situation it was just right for him to do so... she agreed.
"Yeah.. just a bit dizzy with the stairs moving left to right... then right to left again." "Yeah... i could see it in her eyes," she answered.
"It was a few weeks after the opening of the term. I really don't know why... But she's alone and..." Hearing him say he was to blamed for Rachel's sadness,
"I can't exactly get what happened... Livvy and Sienna?" she asked him again hoping she wouldn't be hated for it.
"I saw Livvy once this term down at the grounds and she seemed fine. We didn't talk about her summer though," she said.
"So you broke up? That's one thing why she was depressed?" She felt sorry for them both.
"I'm sorry. Have you tried to talk to her?"
Talking about Chicago made the atmosphere a little bit happier,
"I'd have to agree with that. Chicago is one of the most beautiful places i've been. You can really relax and unwind." she said enthusiastically.
"You should try to spend your vacation in there again. There are so much fun waiting in there than just spending time in New york... although i'd love to be there too." Locking herself in her room and pretending to be sleeping saved her day during those times.
"Funny thing..." Natalia... her lovely and sweet sister.
"Right... She's my sister. Older than me by seven years."
