And he didn't like the way he replied to that comment. "She could have been your friend, dude. You do have a few friends and all. And if someone hit one of my friends out of nowhere I'd be upset." He shrugged. It wasn't like there was some secret code that said you only got mad when it was your girlfriend.
Then he saw Reese shaking her head at him. "I'm sorry, but it was funny. And also is now one of my pictures for Muggle Studies." He patted his camera fondly and winked at her.
Nathaniel didn't have time for this. He knew Mariel was cold and he was itching to go get some candy. His stock was getting really low.
"You have fun with your snowball fight.. just try not to hit any innocent bystanders.. please." he said smiling.
"You're right. She's firstly my best friend.. and secondly my girlfriend" he said looking at Torin.
Nathaniel looked back at Mariel
"Can we go get some candy now?" He was on the look out for the firing squad. He was surprised that he'd not seen them yet.
