Evelyn's raised her eyebrows when she saw a hole appear in the plank. "Wow, nice." she said to Destiny, giving her a thumbs up and smile.
'She's really good.' she thought, stepping up next to her, feeling slightly out of balance. 'Not as good as you though.' the voice said, almost as if it wanted Evelyn to believe it. 'You're being nice to me. Why?' she demanded in return, lifting up her wand. 'What? It's the truth.' She could almost feel the voice shrug it's shoulders...if it had shoulders. 'She's just as good as me. No one is better than the other...You remember DADA class. She was great, got everything on the first try like i did.'
She must have been standing there for at least a minute, wand still raised, looking like an idiot not doing anything. Snapping out of her thoughts, she glanced to Destiny. "Sorry. I guess i was thinking about...p-pie." she blurted out, saying the first thing that came to mind. "Deprimo." she said softly, turning back to the plank just as she made the 'chopping' movement with her wand. Another hole appeared on the plank, right next to Destiny's like Evelyn intended it to. |
