As she did, a flash of light caught her eye. Did that boy just take her picture?! Oh no he didn't! Now the 15 year old was annoyed even further at the thought of her humiliation and discomfort being immortalized by some little boy. "Hey...!" she yelled at him, not sure of what words to use right then. Instead, she picked up another handful of snow, molded it into a ball and threw it at the back of the boys head. That should teach him to take her picture without permission.
Now scowling, though it was hidden behind her scarf, Mariel turned back to Nathaniel, ready to leave now that she felt she had settled everything. Huh? "Where are you going?" she asked as he started off towards Torin. "Nathaniel!" she yelled as he then tackled the boy to the ground. What on Earth was he doing?!

Then he saw the flash of a camera going off. What the hell?
Apparently it was a First Year as he couldn't see any other reason for the girl to suddenly hurl a snowball at a boy that was standing in the area.
He made a mental note not to mess with her; she seemed really crabby.

Nathaniel was grinning at this point.
"Hey, you started this." he said to Torin. Even if he didn't mean it.
"What were you doing throwing snow at those other kids anyway?" . And why was that kid from his Muggle Studies class taking their picture. He knew it was for class but this was not the TIME! No sir! Mariel had taken care of it. Nathaniel had gotten up and extended his hand to Torin and helped him up.
Nathaniel looked at Mariel as she was trying to not die due to the cold. He mad his way back to her
"Yes, I know him." he told the Ravenclaw. Nate had after all asked Torin's advise on some things.
"Mariel.. this is Torin. You can thank him for the idea of the scented ink you got.." he said smiling. The older boy and pestered him to tell Mariel how he had felt about her.
"Do you want to go inside NOW?" he asked teasingly.
