Lettie hurried along the main street of the village. She had just arrived after being home for a couple of days due to a family emergency...and by family emergency, it meant her mouse, Chester had caught a cold.
Quickly, and with a thick stack of letters clutched in her hand, Leticia walked around a corner, and head-on into another wandering student.
She fell backwards, dumping her envelopes all over the ground and scowled up at the student.
"Sorry." Lettie said, though she didn't seem very sincere...more like she was in a hurry.
