Deathbed. Yes, Edem might as well been on his deathbed. And as he chuckled on the word, the pain in his stomach stung like never before. He panted, and dug his fingernails into his robes to distract himself from the pain that was actually originated from a deeper part of his body. He wondered how long he could stay awake, seeing that he'd fainted before.

He pressed his lips and eyes close together when Lucille offered him food. No, just no. He wasn't in the mood to eat--no. From what it'd been telling him, Edem's stomach wasn't in a fit enough condition to receive food, or at least that's what he was feeling. He shook his head and insisted on closing his mouth. And did those food come from Warren's bag?
