"Did you try putting toothpaste on it?," Tino suggested. "It's good for mosquito bites. I've got some in my trunk if you want." He rocked back and forth on his heels, watching the boy scratch with uninhibited fascination. "My family gets athlete's foot. And hemorroids." At the mention of this malady, Tino's mind wandered to the reason he hadn't tried out for Quidditch this year, and he shifted uncomfortably, wincing.
To distract himself, he shoved his hands into his pockets and pulled out a small tin and a package of crackers. "Would you like some gorgonzola?," Tino offered, as he always did when meeting new people. "Oh--I'm Tino."
