Evelyn jumped when she heard someone start to yell...or scream! Whichever sounded worse at the moment! making her press her hands to her ears even harder, trying to block out the horrible noise. It suddenly stopped, confusing her for a moment, and she dropped her arms to her sides, looking around to find the source of the yelling. 'Where did that come from?' Evelyn thought, barely noticing the Professor start to move away, and then run from the room...well try to at least. She did glance over and see her wearing heels. Not the best running foot wear. "Hey-" she started to call out to the professor, but was interrupted by the yelling again. Clamping her hands over her ears for the third time, wincing again as she forgot about the blisters and sensitivity, her eyes spotted the curtains in the dark corner. 'It's coming from that one boy that you saw the professor levitating earlier!' the voice yelled in her mind, trying to be heard over the loud noise which suddenly lowered to a whimpering and then stopped again.
Running over to her own bedside and to her bag, she grabbed her wand, which was a little difficult to do, and held it in front of her, pointing it slightly towards the curtains. She didn't really want to...but she started walking slowly over anyways, not looking back to the other two in the room, eyebrows furrowed in concentration and eyes alert with caution as she stopped in front of the white material. Moving it slightly away to the side with her wand, she peaked around to see someone laying on the bed very still. The boy looked even worse up close, making her cringe slightly, but not much to be noticed. "Hey." she whispered, hoping that the older boy would hear her, not really wanting to startle him. 'Jeez, what happened to him?' |
