"No need to apologize, and I do know that you enjoyed your job here," she remarked. Bella stood when Oceana did, then walked the woman to the door. "Good luck, Oceana, and I wish your family well."
With Oceana now gone, Bella turned her attention to J.J., who'd been patiently waiting his turn. She motioned for him to come inside and find a seat. "Come on in, J.J. Thank you for waiting patiently while I talked with Oceana," she said, pulling out her chair and taking a seat behind her desk. "Now, what can I do for you today?"
