Lorcan leant forwards and smiled at the girl who was sat on the other side of Kay. He wanted to make as many new friends as possible and this girl looked nice.

Kay pulled it to her so she could read it. She laugh softly and nudged Lorcan. Diving under the desk would be funny. Kay saw he was looking at Marie and wonder what she was doing. She turned to look at Marie and saw that she was watching them. "Oh, boy." Kay thought. Would Marie tell the professor they were passing notes. She wrote on the parchment "Her name is Marie, I only know her through our classes. She seems nice, but I don't know her all that well." Kay pushed it back over to Lorcan. Kay wasn't laughing anymore. She was worried that Marie would tell on them.
