And I don't see why a professional relationship should interfere with our other arrangement. In fact, it would only serve as a good cover for why we are frequenting each other's quarters."
After he spoke he realized how presumptuous and informal he sounded. But, why was he worried about that? They had, after all, agreed to a relationship based solely on the physical which implied that they would be seeing each other more than once with no regard to feelings. Adding a professional relationship shouldn't change that. He did not have to feel guilty for his impersonal remarks.
