Ah, it seemed Vivianne and Daisy had a sort of mental telepathy going on. She took the bowl of fruit and scooped some out onto her plate before handing it over to Vivianne, assuming her bestie would want some too. The boy next to her babbled on a bit about people and Daisy lost him for a moment as she speared a couple pieces of fruit. “I’m partial to peaches, pears, and plums,” she replied to his berries and pineapple comment. “I think it’s the ‘p’ although that would include the pineapple then wouldn’t it?” she paused. “Say, do you know why a pineapple is called a pineapple anyway?” They certainly didn’t grown on pine trees and they definitely didn’t look like an apple.
“Joshua Carter?” Daisy repeated. “Well, Joshua Carter, I’m Daisy Petrus, and this is Vivianne Nat.” She motioned to Vivianne who was sitting on her other side munching away on a sandwich and muttering about chicken.
Via chuckled as she heard what Daisy and boy - say Joshua.. yeah that was his name - talked about fruits. She never knew Daisy was interested with such things. She watched her scratch the thing on her face and gasped
"Gillyweed?" Those things are... are horrible... the smell, the look, she shivered.
"What did you do with them?" she asked her bestfriend.
"Slimy eh?" she added although her eating pattern wasn't at all affected.
"The reason why you look a little bit glum today?"
"Ahh... fruits. Whatta healthy way," she smiled.
"Has great effects on the body." She took some of the bowl of fruit and said
"Thanks Daisy." Peaches, pears and plum??? What was that all about? Vivianne had never been that choosy with fruits as long as she's in the mood to eat.
She got interested when Daisy started to talk about the etymology of something.
"Because they started with apples that have pines," she said as she continued to chew her sandwich and took a bite of a cherry.
As Daisy motioned to her she smiled at the boy.
"I'm Vivianne Nat," she said as she looked at her plate.
