Snape turned at the sound of a soft voice just outside the door and saw Tara out of the corner of his eye. Had she overheard? He shook his head and turned back to Malfoy; what did he care if she had heard? "I have some business to attend to and you need to continue your convalescence. I'll return later," he said before sweeping out to the door.
"Was there something you needed?" he asked as he arrived at Tara's side, just outside the door.
