Or was it done on purpose? To punish every werewolf for what happened at Hogwarts, to separate and subjugate them?" The tears spilled down her cheeks and she realised that not only was she shouting at a division head, she was doing it in full view of her collegues. She recovered herself slighty. "I'm sorry, I'm just sick of all this prejudice." She couldn't look Violet in the eye so she stared at the floor, sipping her coffee.
Violet folded her arms and watched as Pandora let out all the anger that Violet had sensed earlier. She waited a few seconds, making sure that she was done, before sliding closer and slipping an arm around Pandora. "Shhh," she soothed. "Of course this was thought over very carefully. This was the only date available, I'm sure. The werewolves aren't being prejudiced on purpose. The rest of the department is just was upset as you are. But we can't ask them to change the date just for us. We're not important enough." She gave a sad little laugh. "It's impossible to make everyone happy sometimes, Pandora. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is." She couldn't see Pandora's face. Violet suspected that she might be crying, so she put her other arm around her as well and gave her a hug.
