Zoe continued walking around the class and picked out her flowers. She finally settled on a dark pink rose, a hollyshock, and a yellow poppy. They didn’t look very good together, but she thought that she had a good message not knowing her partner very well after all. She went back to her seat and put them down on her lap waiting for Cam to finish.

To her surprise he was finished at about the same time she was. "Ok, well let me take a look at yours first." She took the three flowers in her hand and looked each up in her book. "Alright, it says here that the magnolia means a love of nature. The hibiscus means rare beauty or delicate beauty. Finally the lotus means purity, chastity, and eloquence."

She sat there gazing thoughtfully at the bouquet and then looking back up at Cam she said, "This could mean that this assignment has brought out your love of nature by bringing to your attention the purity and delicate beauty of all of the lovely flowers in the room, maybe. If I'm way off just shake your head, give me a dirty look and I'll try again," she said, smiling at the last bit. "If I'm right my flowers are right here." With that she held out her dark pink rose, hollyshock, and yellow poppy.
