As she refused the drink he shrugged and left it in front of her. It wasn't until he heard her comment about firewhiskey that he sat up and leaned across the table, "What do you mean by that?" How would she know! He didn't know her.... and then she said the name...the one he'd been searching for himself cause he would find Alexa if he found him.... His blue eyes sparking with a mixture of anger and frustration he forced himself to stay in his seat. "Who did you say...? How do you know him?" This was too weird.

She was treading in dangerous waters with the personal questions. Swallowing, she shrugged, "Just curious. If you allowed to ask questions then so am I" She raised an eyebrow uninteresedly as he replied challengingly or she would say defensively. She couldn't decide whether she was happy or sad about the news. Moving to a new department was moving on but no love interest. She frowned, "Don't flatter yourself. It's not"
She scoffed at his reply, "Well you should. You might learn something" Idiotic foreigners who thought they could judge. "I work in Law Enforcement" She spat out. "I'm not as ignorant as some people" Her lips formed in a terse line and she glared at him, "Anyone? You think anyone can raise their wand to someone and kill them? Really? Is that what you believe? God, you really have no idea do you?" She rolled her eyes and sat back in the chair, his jacket long forgotten on the floor. She would freeze and dehydrate before she accepted anything else from him. Torn between her plan and the familiarity of her surroundings, of him. "It takes a certain type of person" She choked out. Yes, it certainly did. She trembled slightly recalling the noise and the blood and the pain. She chewed her bottom lip ignoring his note-writing. His outburst caused her to flinch as she glanced down at the notebook. He'd probably figured it out by now. Bella frowned, what lie would she drege up this time? "Why are you so angry?" She asked,"Hmm? Why?" She was moving into enemy areas and she would be hard-pressed to get out alive, or at least with her alias in tact.
The reaction she got from the name was not the best. He knew. He'd been looking for her. She watched his anger spill from him and Bella sighed, "Ajahil" She replied simply, "I was meant to..I mean.. I killed him"
