Aah, got her, she was half blood. Good, Evan could safely talk to her now. He could never understand wizards who were against Muggle life, and this wizard was married to a Muggle! How contradictory. He pursed his lips. "Do you support any team then?" he asked, still enthusiastic. She could still be won.
Laura sighed in relief, mentally. She was glad that Evan was not going to press her for details about the fire, or to be all sympathising, and everything. It was alot nicer that he looked over her history and just wanted to talk to
her. At least, she thought he did.
From the purse of his lips, she couldn't tell whether he was impressed by the fact that his father wasn't against Muggles, or the contrary. She still didn't know whether he was half-blood, or whatever. Shrug. Oh well, it wasn't like it was important, or anything. And she wasn't one to pry; much better to concentrate on the topic in hand, one she was enthusiastic about.
"Everton," she said slowly, smiling. At least he know that Everton was a team, of he lived in Liverpool. Unless he was one of those people, who thought of Liverpool FC and didn't think of Everton as a proper team. Then that would be bad, and she might have to walk away. But not to think about that now.
