Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space.
Glancing up at Evan at his whisper, Laura smiled. "It's alright, honest," she said. He must think her family was daft or something, for they hadn't put the fire out. But Fiendfyre was hard to put out, and as no one in her family knew the counter curse, it was easier to disapear quietly, and not to alert the Muggle authorities. So they'd moved to her Grandads. Shrug.
Her smile widened at his question; it was almost funny. Such a random question, so out of the blue, and obviously to change the subject. If she'd been pureblood, she might've scorned him, said that he was stupid to even think it. But she was half-blood, and that made all of the difference. "Football?" she repeated with a nod. "Love it, but dad didn't like me playing. Or supporting for that matter. Mum was fine, because she was a muggle." She laughed at the memory. Now dad wasn't there to tell her she couldn't play, but there was only one problem; living in London equaled no cousin or friends to play with. Hmmph.
