A little surprised at Evans sudden smile, Laura was taken aback. He hadn't seemed to be a one for friends before, and now he was smiling? Well, Laura would go along with it. After all, she was trying to be more confident, rather than the shy thing she'd always been. Offering a smile back at Evan, she nodded when he said she was the first person to place his accent.

"Yeah, well. I lived there for a couple of years, and my family still do. So I spend a lot of time there," she shrugged, as if it was normal that she should recognised his accent. But it was wasn't it? Oh well. She pushed the struggle from her mind and concentrated on what Evan said next.

"I live London," Laura said with another shrug. "But I guess my accent isn't pure Cockney, 'cause I've lived in Liverpool, too." She frowned. That sounded strange, saying that she gone from one end of England to the other. And she'd never really noticed her accent until now, and she noticed the hint of Scouse in it.
