Alex's eyes went wide, Had he just called her beautiful? Has she been a blushing girl, she would have blushed. She was used to compliments, but this one wasn't induced by her charm. This one was natural.. and it felt good. "Thank you.." She said with a happy smile up at him. "I'll keep that in mind when people compliment me next." She grinned more, as she leaned against the wall, her gray eyes looking up into his blue ones.

"YAY! I get to be a Queen! I have always wanted to be a Queen.." She said jokingly, as then sobered a bit as he said she wouldn't be a trophy wife. Even though they were teasing, it still meant alot to her that he would say that. "Thank you Damon." She said smiling, "I will try to be the best Queen ever for you." She winked up at him, his smirk reeking havoc on her insides.

Damon tilted his head to one side, smiling at her with an eyebrow quirked just slightly. Of course people would want to follow her. She wouldn't need to make anyone fear her. "I can see that," he agreed, nodding slowly as he did so. "If I was the follower type, I would, definitely. Unfortunately, though...," he let his voice trail off even though he was already keen on listening to whatever she had to say. Oh, he would, whether he said he would or thought he would or not.

He grinned at her in reply, looking down before meeting her eyes once again. She seemed genuinely happy compared to how she was when he first arrived, and he liked that. This was surprising, all things considered. He never had much of a penchant for the happiness of others. And she wanted to go with him. That made it even better. "That sounds perfect," he replied, only just repressing his smirk as he gave her a very serious expression. It still showed at the edges of his lips, even if it wasn't there.

"Well, you're welcome," he replied, his smirk breaking through as he met her gaze, an impish look in his eyes. "Though you should probably keep it in mind all the time. You should be aware of your effect on people. Wouldn't want to charm someone without realizing what you're doing..." He let his voice trail off, though mildly hinting toward the possibility of there being other boys. Was there? Was she called for? Not that he cared, particularly. That could be taken care of. Well, unless the hypothetical boyfriend was a really big guy. Then it would be wise to let it go... Well, if he couldn't find substantial black mail, anyway.

His expression softened in the most minute way when she said she would be the best queen ever for him. Hopefully, with talking like that (even if it was just a joke), she didn't have a boyfriend. "That's good to hear," he intoned softly, a hint of a smile playing behind his lips. "And I would be the best king ever. After we achieve world domination, anyway. Now, I'll just have to be the best company you'll have."
