Hearing a sigh, Laura looked up and blushed slightly when she saw that a boy she didn't even know was helping her to pick her books up. Taking then off him with a small smile, she brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Thanks," she muttered, before tapping her bag with her wand, repairing it, and stuffing the books haphazardly away. She could sort them later... but even standing there now she knew it wasn't going to happen.

"Erm, thank you," she said once again, this time looking at the boy and not mumbling. Deciding that it was time ti stop being herself, and try to be confident, she stuck out a hand. "I'm Laura." she beagn, but found it was all she could really say. What if he just ignored her, and walked away and laughed?!
