Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee George rolled his eyes, but really didn't feel like arguing at this point. "Fine, you can stay, but if you can't keep up, we aren't going to go back for you." He turned to Fred. "At the meeting last night, do you remember what Sinistra said? She said whoever strikes first... and that we only have a month to do it. What's keeping us from striking first anyway? And who's to say the Weasley twins can't make their first contribution something to live up to?" George tried to remind himself that this wasn't about proving his worth or that they needed him... it was about helping defeat Voldemort. Tara stood outside the hospital wing, listening to Draco and Snape talk. She had sought him out intentionally, knowing from the house elf who deposited breakfast that morning that Malfoy was still in the infirmary and knowing from her own brief experience with Snape that he might grumble or sneer but he wouldn't leave the boy's side until he awoke. Tara wasn't sure what she wanted to say to Snape, but she followed the whim to seek him.
His words struck a deep chord within her. Not only the reminder that caring for him would be so unsafe... she didn't need to remember that she had to stay safe so Dani could stay safe. Afterall, someday... The part that really struck her, however, was when he said that the majority of the people would never really believe he could be trusted. Strange that, because since she'd seen him with the Order, she'd known he was safe. She didn't want to think about what that meant for her, or what it meant for her heart. "I am NOT falling for Severus Snape," she muttered to herself. "Its illogical and dangerous. And not just for my physical well-being. Dangerous for my heart."
