He raised an eyebrow at Kazi as he lent back in his chair.

"It is indeed, and I certainly do not discourage that practice." he said agreeably, the gleam in his eyes intensifying. "Since you brought up the subject of favouritism in the classroom setting, may I point out that while 'times have changed' the rules of propriety have not changed whether one is in the classroom or not. It is appropriate-- no, critical-- that student safety and education are an instructor's paramount concern while in the classroom. Do you agree with this statement?" He leaned back in his chair, still regarding Lawson with that same focused gaze.
