Keeping her gaze through her words, which was really hard considering that Evan was the kind of quilty one, he waited till the end. He took a deep breath and said "Fallon, I'm sorry to upset you." He wasn't sorry for loving Lyra, she was just as good. He wanted to say more, but nothing came out. Then he was inspired again. "How would you forgive me?" He wanted to hold her hand, but that would be mean. He looked at her hands though, and then looked away. Maybe she would understand..?
Fallon looked at Evan as he apologized. She really had to think about it. What he said would suffice, but she wanted to see exactally what he would do to be on her good side again.
No. I'm not going to be a jerk. That's enough for me. I just want to go back to trying and being friends.
"Apology accepted." She said smiling at him. "Maybe for the time being, we should hang out with each other like we used to." It was only a suggestion, but she thought it might work.
