"Jake's right, Professor Lupa. They were found," LouAnn said, speaking up for the first time in a few minutes. She'd been listening carefully to the interaction between Jake and the professor while thinking carefully about the black-out question she'd just asked. She put all thoughts of blacking out to the side, though, more interested for the time-being in figuring out more about her own stones.
"Well, what about these?" she asked, pulling the drawstring bag back out of her pocket and slowly opening it. She paused, glancing over at Jake before pulling seven additional
objects out and showcasing them in the palm of her hand. "Are these runes, too?" She said no more, but watched the professor with wide, curious eyes. If they were runes, as she supposed, they were very special. They seemed so to her, at least.
