Evan opened his mouth to answer Edem when an older girl pulled his ear. It'd be funny if he knew what was it for, but he just stared, an unsure smile on his lips. Pulling the chair from which he was dragged against his will, Edem finally sat back down. He put the bag of sweets on the table, then brought the chair closer to the table so he could rest his arms on it. As if answering to Evan's puzzled look, he said,
"So you see, I have no problem with girls that are older," Edem took a deep breath and shrugged,
"Sorry for the interruption--part of it's my fault." he pursed his lips, taking another deep breath; the smell of the pub was very nice to breathe on. He could even smell caramel and honey--he wondered what drink it might be. Eagerly leaning forwards, he asked,
"Were you going to say something earlier?"
