Chapter 27 part 2 cont.

"James!" Ginny yelled benting over her son as he was lying on the floor. "Are you okay? What happened?"
"Mum I..." he whispered shocked looking at his legs as he sat up.
"I don't like all these", Ginny said shaking her head. "Come on, get up and we'll have Teddy to come here now".
"Mum...I can't", the boy said terrified.
"What?"
"I can't get up; I can't move my legs", he said.
"What?" Ginny repeated.
"My legs are like paralyzed or something", James said in the verse of hysteria.
Ginny tried to crouch down and help him up but her enlarged belly didn't allow it to her. She turned to the aurors behind her that were keeping themselves out of all that.
"Well, what are you looking at? Come over here and help me get him upstairs; I'm not sure it would be a good idea if I used magic on him", she said.
"Ma'am we have orders...."
"...to protect us from exterior dangers", Ginny finished his sentence. "My son not been able to walk is pointing at an exterior danger. So could you please..."
But she didn't finished her sentence because James gasped and then clutched his stomach.
"James?" she said worried.
"Oh, mum, my stomach is killing me!" he said, tears of pain running down his face. She turned to the aurors.
"Get over here right now!"
Her look was so infuriating that they didn't dare defy it. They carried the boy upstairs with Ginny following them. As soon as James was on his bed she bent over him and placed her palm on his forehead again.
"Oh, God, you have fever too; I don't understand you weren't even warm before and now you're actually burning!"
James didn't listen to a word she said though. He felt like someone was stabbing him again and again and again and he couldn't even talk from the pain; it was almost as bad as the crutiatus curse. And he couldn't move his legs; why couldn't he move his legs? What was happening to him? For a few moments he lost contact with his environment and let himself sunk into the pain. He hadn't passed out but he couldn't hear or see anything around him; it was like everything that existed for him was that pain that spread slowly to his entire body.
The pain left as suddenly as it came and the boy fell back at his cushions taking deep breaths; it seemed to him that a lot of time had passed but it couldn't have, because the aurors were still standing at the door and his mother was still sitting next to him talking fast to them. His eyes were watering and his ears were ringing but he tried to focus to what his mother was saying.
"For God's sake do not argue with me! Go and bring my husband here now!" Ginny told to the taller one. "And would you please sent a Patronus to my husband's godson, Teddy Lupin? He's a healer, he can help us", she told the other one.
"Mum, I think I'm okay now", James whispered coughing. She turned to him and as she did, he realized that she was clutching his hand tightly.
"Honey? Are you back with me?" she said; her eyes were watering too.
"Yeah" he said. "I'm...it doesn't hurt anymore".
"Your legs?"
"No", he shook his head; even though the pain left, his legs still refused to obey him.
"Okay, don't worry", she said. "I'm sure it's nothing; Teddy will just do his magic and you'll be at your feet in no time", she smiled, stroking his cheek; then she turned to the aurors. "Don't stand there! Go! Do what I said!"
They looked at each other and then the taller nodded and they left.
"Mum", James said the minute they left the room. "What is this? What's happening to me?"

Harry's face had gone blank but he didn't react, move or even blink to what Dolohov said; he just looked at him staight in the eyes.
"You're lying", he said with a steady voice.
"Am I?" the Death Eater laughed. "Why don't you go find out by yourself?" he suggested.
Harry looked at him for another second and then jumped up and hurried to the door.
"Oh, and Potter", Dolohov shouted to his back; Harry turned. "If you get that thingy out of the boy's hand, you'll find that there's something attached to it; that's made from me especially for you".
Harry didn't understand what the man meant but he didn't care at the moment; he needed to go home, to see that James was okay, to prove Dolohov wrong...because it couldn't be true, if it was...
He closed the door of the room, leaving Dolohov with the two aurors in there. The next moment Hermione came out of the closest door and caught up with him. She was behind the glass and heard the whole thing.
"He's lying", she said reassuringly. "He's definitely lying".
"Nobody wishes that more than me, Hermione", Harry said as they entered the auror office almost running. "I have to go check on Jamie though".
"Of course you are. I'm actually coming with you if you haven't noticed".
Harry didn't answer that and just started walking fast through the Ministry hallways towards the exit. The few minutes in the elevator seemed like hours to Harry, as he and Hermione were waiting for the doors to open and when they did Harry sprinded out and run towards the closest apparation point.
"Mr.Potter, sir!" someone called after him.
"Not now!" Harry called back not even noticing who it was.
"Mr.Potter, I'm coming from your house!"
Harry turned to see one of the aurors that he had to protect Ginny walking fast towards him. His heart almost stopped. He knew that Ginny would never sent one of the aurors to fetch him if it wasn't an absolute necessity.
"What happened?" Hermione asked.
"Something with Mr.Potter's older son. I'm not sure what..."
But Harry and Hermione were already running down the corridor.

Harry and Hermione apparated in the kitchen as always and looked around. There was no sign of Ginny, James or of any other residence of the house; of course that wasn't so unusual given the time, but still it was a bit disconcerning. Harry didn't waste any time though and he run straight upstairs. When he reached the top of the stairs, with Hermione at his tracks, the door of James' room opened and Teddy walked out followed by Ginny. Ginny's eyes were all welled up and Harry felt his heart sank; it was true, what Dolohov said, it was all true...
