Arrick stared at the ceiling for a long moment, lost interest and started staring at everyone in the room, including the professor. The collective staring was making him feel like the professor was leading them on, seeing if he could make them all foolish. Arrick wasn't a mindless fool, he certainly wasn't.
As time wore on, he wondered if perhaps there was something in the room that wasn'. Maybe that's what it was all about? Maybe the ceiling didn't exist. Maybe there was something invisible, or almost invisible, lurking about.
With that in mind, he peered upwards again, frowning, then back at the professor.
