Okay, now she was freaking him out. He hadn't even said anything to her other than hi. So how did she know that he was insulting her?

Feigning innocence, he shrugged at her. "What are you talking about? I'm not mean."

He was a good actor. Hopefully she would buy this. But how did she know?!?! She wasn't a mind reader or anything.
