Was it obvious why he cared? Well, 'Claws were more clever anyway, so Evan wasn't surprised that Edem had figured it out even before he himself did. He sighed. He was comfortable with Fallon too, when they were alone. But he was comfortable with Lyra everywhere. So that meant he liked Lyra more, that he should choose her? He looked at Rayedem with surprise when he told it'd, then his eyes stared blankly at the sugar bowl for a moment, obviously thinking, before he talked again. "Lyra's family doesn't allow her to date until age 14." he said quickly like a fallen apple from the air. He quickly added "I don't want to date this year too, but next year..." He trailed off, knowing that the 'Claw would get the meaning of I'll definately date next year, I can't wait forever'.
Evan's question shocked Rayedem, and so did the words he spoke to Thomas. "Hey, ob korz not! Common Eban, chill!" he said, getting up to his feet and stood in front of Evan, "D'yah wanna get some drink? Mighd helb?" he asked, but waited for Evan's confirmation as he didn't know what the pub serves.

"Yeah, maybe id'z bedder nod doo date yed," he began, he was told about it once by his cousin--dating isn't as simple as he thought. What with the emotions and the commitment--not something he nor Evan could handle yet. "Look ad me, I'm nod close wid any girls and I'm happy," he said truthfully. "So bedder dhink wizely? No rush, yeah?"
