"Izn'd id obbious why you care?" he asked back as his nose was starting to feel better, "I dhink you should choose one whom you'rhe mowr comfortable wid--dat counts fwends." he quickly added. Well.. It wasn't like he was taking sides, but he liked Lyra better. "Aldhough, in de end you know id's ub doo you. What is wrong, Edem? He was not supposed to be subjective! And he was, honestly, confused.
Evan kept staring grudgingly after the Ravvie boy until Rayedem shook his head.
"Am I so easy to ignore?" he asked suddenly, sounding really concerned. First the Veela girl, now this Ravvie boy. And he attracted two girls, and became friends with three people. That meant something!
Was it obvious why he cared? Well, 'Claws were more clever anyway, so Evan wasn't surprised that Edem had figured it out even before he himself did. He sighed. He was comfortable with Fallon too, when they were alone. But he was comfortable with Lyra everywhere. So that meant he liked Lyra more, that he should choose her? He looked at Rayedem with surprise when he told it'd, then his eyes stared blankly at the sugar bowl for a moment, obviously thinking, before he talked again.
"Lyra's family doesn't allow her to date until age 14." he said quickly like a fallen apple from the air. He quickly added
"I don't want to date this year too, but next year..." He trailed off, knowing that the 'Claw would get the meaning of
I'll definately date next year, I can't wait forever'.
