Having already lost focus in the class, Jake blinked to clear his head and gazed stupidly up at Dumont for a moment before answering the question he knew... or hoped, had been asked. That is, of course, after he smiled at his older sister in greeting.

"Sir," Jake started, hand raised. "I don't think we can truly say which ways are better. I mean, in my opinion, there are loads of good self defence methods... it just depends how you use them, when, if you can use them, and all that."
