Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space.

Entering the classroom hesitantly, Laura looked around, and seeing that the coast was clear, she sighed in relief and stepped further into the room, her confidence growing. Bad idea.

Heaind the door slam behind her, Laura turned around, her heart leaping into her mouth. Thud thud, thud-thud-thud. Her heart still hamering, she looked down at the Pixie that had the key, glad of the fact that she was a foot taller than it. The hight difference made her feel...uh, more powerful.

But the Cornish Pixie had the key, and even as she stood frozen on the spot, Lauras brain whirrled as she thought about how to get it back. Here goes nothing, she though, flicking her wrist slightly and feeling her wand slip into her hand from the holster she had recieved from a DADA lesson last year. Imediately she felt safer.

"Expelliarmus!" Laura cried, directing her wand at the Pixie with the key. Another bad idea. Instead of flying to her, as she'd hoped would happen, it just flew behind her, and into the hands of another Pixie. It's like playing Piggy in the Middle, and I'm was in the Middle, she thought wryly to herself.

Ok, time to try again. "LOCOMOTOR MORTIS!" Was Lauras second cry, and she watched the Pixie before her fall to the ground, it's legs bound together. Satisfied that she'd pulled it off, she tured around, and ducked imediately as a desk came sailing towards her. "LOCOMOTOR MORTIS! she cried again, and the Pixie whom had thrown the desk collapsed, too.

But that was far from the end. Lauras head snapped back as two of the Pixies grabbed her hair. Letting out a gasp of pain, she wrenched her head forward and rubbed the back of her neck as she spun around, in the space of about two seconds. Mere moments later, she'd screamed, "Petrificus Totalus! PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" And the clawing Pixies fell at her feet.

But there was still the matter of the Pixie with the key. "Right you," she muttered, advancing on the creature. But one moment the Pixie was in front of her, and the next it had flitted behind her, and befor she could turn around, she felt a splitting pain above her left elbow. Ignoring the pain, Laura turned to see a shattered lamp at her feet, and realised that the Creature must've thrown it at her, and that the glass must've cut her .

That was it, for her. Raising her wand, Laura screamed "LOCOMOTOR MORTIS!" at the top of her lungs. The Pixie, although it had tried to move out of the way, fell backwards as its legs joined together, dropping the key in the process. Stopping over, Laura winced as pain shot up her arm as she grabbed the key in her left hand.

Standing up straight, Laura scowled down at all of the Pixies littered across the floor of the classroom. The she turned around and fitted the key into the lock, wincing as she turned it. Hearing the click, Laura pulled open the door and set off for the hospital wing, glad that she'd got out of the classroom.
