Damon laughed, meeting her gray-eyed gaze with his own, his blue eyes flashing in the bright sunlight pouring through. "I thought that even though you looked like a loner and a little troubled, and even though I'm really not the comforting type, that I'd be mental not to talk to you." But his face fell serious as he leaned back against the wall again. "Is there a reason you asked?"
Alex relaxed a little as Damon spoke, he was r
ight.. really. No matter if she was a Veela or not, people would judge her. "Yeah, I guess you are right, I don't know why I have been so upset about people finding out.. But if they are worth my time, my secret won't matter.. Hopefully.." She added as she chewed a bit on her lower lip.
She smiled a little as his blue eyes lit up and she could feel herself brighten a little.
"Really? Hmmm well thank you.. I think.." She said a small smile on her face,
"Was there a reason? Yeah.. Actually there was, I was attempting to prove a point.. but.. I guess there is no point to make." She said as she shifted off the wall,
"Why don't we move further down? So the sun doesn't keep on blinding you?" She asked with a small laugh, the sound like music.
