Tibi held the picture tightly in his hands. It was him and his dad on a BROOMSTICK! FLYING! Flipping it over, scrawled on the back in handwriting he didn't recognize, it read 'Tirion and Tiberius, 2060.' That had to be his DAD's handwriting!!
"Look!" Tibi turned back to Rayedem. "It's me and my dad! I didn't know he was a wizard until right before school when mum told me and she was cleaning and she found this picture and and... I'VE BEEN FLYING BEFORE?!" He'd been so excited about the picture of his dad that he'd been speaking a mile a minute and that last fact had JUST occurred to him.
Rayedem smiled broadly as Tibi chuckled--he could feel the happiness. Oh well, it's okay this way. Life's good.
"Look at that! You have been flying before!" he exclaimed.
"Hey, didn't you look so happy?" he added, now leaning over to take a closer look at the photograph. The pictures were
moving. They were moving--so this is what wizards' photographs would look like. Amazing.
I've gotta take one with my family, too. Maybe finally dad would want to keep one.
Then he let his eyes caught the sight of three new pairs of shoes,
"Those look great too. Shoes are essential in sports, so are they in flying, I guess," he said hoping he didn't sound silly,
"So I guess that means your parents really support you in this thing, huh? Way to go!" he ended with a smile.
