He paused and watched as there was a sudden influx of employees into the office. He smiled as each one of them took a seat at the table. "WAIT. Let me guess," he smirked, folding his arms across his chest. "A black hole opened up in the floor and mystical monsters from the planet Never never land appeared and attacked, HENCE, why you are late. Please, I understand," he laughed, waiting for the rest of them to sit down. "Oh please, no killing yourself," he added with a worried look as he peered around to look at the woman who had tripped.
"Moving on!" Chad said, addressing the slowly growing crowd. "I am pleased to announce that we have once again been given the opportunity to host the quidditch world cup!" Chad almost bounced in excitement, but he managed to contain himself. "Exciteeementtt!"
Kiana Rainey listened to what Chad..whats his name? was saying about black holes and ...stuff. Kiana raised an amused eyebrow at him and chuckled softly. This man seemed like a cool guy. Kiana then looked at the table and saw a clean empty cup in front of her, she stood up slowly and grabbed the cup and with her other hand she grasped for the coffee. She poured in some coffee in for herself and then sat back down again.
Drinking it carefully because it was still hot, which she found a bit strange because of her lateness but then remembered that this was the magical world. Kiana blowed in her cup and took a small sip. Bad idea, because the moment she had taking a sip from the coffee, Chad had announcent what could be like her dream!
'PPPFFFFFFF' Kiana spurted out her coffee but she didn't really notice it.
"OH MY GOSH REALLY?!!" she shouted excitedly, Forgetting that she was a Ministry employee and suppose to be calm. But hey, she was only 21 and quidditch had been her passion while she stayed at Hogwarts. Wait, again? had this department done this before? pretty cool, no AWESOME.
"Eh, but sir" she begun speaking and had trouble controlling her feet which tapped on the floor excitedly.
"Isn't it something for the Sport department?" And then it hit her. Was Chad just joking? had she been acting excitedly for nothing? and made a fool out of herself?
Kiana quickly stopped tapping with her feet and looked with huge eyes at the Department head.
Pleeeeeeeeease do not say "i'm kidding" at the end pleaaasee!. She begged in her head.
