“Before we learn anything new, I want to make none of you have wands that have any serious malfunctions,” the professor said quietly. “First of all, I’d like everyone to sit down, put your wand above your head, and sit as still as possible. Pretend you are a statue.” Tibi snapped to attention as soon as Professor Svensson walked into the room. Following the man with his eyes, and taking particular notice of the oddly-shaped box. Listening intently, Tiberius was puzzled by the instructions.
Removing his wand from his holster, Tibi gripped it tightly. Shifting on his pillow to get comfortable, he raised his arm and pointed his wand straight up. He tried to hold still, but the wand kept swaying. It was longer and heavier than Tibi could really handle at this point, but he had gotten it assuming he'd grow into it.
As his arm began to ache, he closed his eyes and hoped that whatever the professor was going to do, it would be soon.
