Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger Many students? Tibi had imagined himself the only one that could possibly be this afraid of heights. He looked up at the professor and bit his bottom lip. "Really?" he asked almost sweetly. "You really think I'll be able to fly?"
Tibi considered how much he should tell. It was bad. Dropping his voice again, and examining his shoelaces for stray bits of lint, he continued. "I... well. Last summer? Mum took me on a plane for the first time and.. I panicked and.." No. Tibi would not tell the man he'd cried the entire time in the air. His mum had been horrified, the other passengers irritable, and Tibi hysterical. "...and well... wehadtotakethetrainbackhomeinstead."
Tibi figured that if he'd freaked out that much on a plane, were he couldn't fall out, how would he react to being on a broom, where he most certainly could?
