Despite a month-long hiatus for most of the cast and crew, second-unit production took place earlier today for
Deathly Hallows, where the Hogwarts Express was found heading to Hogsmeade station in Scotland. The shoot, which took place at Rannoch Station, was photographed by
Aaron Sneddon and can be seen
here.
It is not yet known what the train would be used for in the films, although Evanna Lynch once stated at a
Half-Blood Prince press junket that there was a chance of seeing Luna's abduction from the Hogwarts Express. However, that is not confirmed at the present time (and could possibly change before the final product is complete).
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.
