A great scream came from Jake as if hs very soul had been ripped of him, his hands reaching out for the medallion to grab it. Jake felt sick. He wanted that back WANTED IT!

"NOOOOOO!" he finally cried, before breaking into sobs that would allow for no words to be heard. He heard Ema's voice from somewhere in the room, but his wracking sobs wouldn't allow him to say anything.

But what he did manage was a nod.

"Oh, let us just let him hang there a bit longer, shall we?" Kazimeriz chuckled. "Well, Mr. Upstead, you seem quite attached to think little trinket. Perhaps you will favor us with the story behind it, since you have plenty of time and are just hanging around, after all?" Kazimeriz smirked as he looked at the small amulet.
