Staring UP at the FLOOR was an odd sensation, and Jake felt the cool medallion that Lawson gave him up on his face. He immediately reached up for it as the beanie slipped off his head, about to rub it and summon Lawson here... but then... he didn't.
"Quit iiiiit," Jake cried out, feeling a hot tear slip out of his eye. "This is NOT FAIR! LET ME GO!"
Yeah... if Jake wasn't stuck to the chair, you better believe he would be having a wicked-awesome tantrum. "I'M TELLING LAWSON!"

Kazimeriz watched the boy, no longer at all interested in going to his wand to help control the boy's ascent. Telling Lawson indeed. Kazimeriz sat back, idly winding his wand between the fingers of one hand as he watched Newtington work his magic and Jake pitch a fit.
And what was that-- the shiny little amulet that dangled from the boy, the sparkle that had caught his eye?
Intriguing. Kazimeriz raised his wand and delicately removed it from the boy, levitating it onto the desk in front of him but saying nothing.
