Evelyn stared at her journal with a blank expression. It wasn't that she didn't like it, she just wondered if the professor would possibly let her use the one that was in her dorm. But, deciding not to ask, she leaned back in her seat in the back of the room, and listened to the professor while starring at the desk.
Evelyn looked up at the professor curiously when she mentioned that Arithmancy had helped her...decide her career? Was that what she said? 'I could surely use the help.' Evelyn thought solemnly.
Looking down at the desk again, she raised her eyebrows in surprise that there was in fact a piece of cardstock. 'Huh, wonder why i didn't notice that before.' Taking her quill in hand, she wrote her name elegantly across the card.
